Took this one during my last visit to my hometown. It’s the street I grew up on. Just now getting around to processing the set. One of my favorites:

The weather in Madrid is very similar to the high desert, I keep having these weird sensory flashbacks.

Summer storm

Headed South Sunday night. It rained a bit during the day, poured later on in the night… that hot summer rain. So good.

The rain smelled warm. If something could smell like amber, this did. Big drops pounded up dust from the stone at first… Madrid is so dry. Suits me well.

Everyone took cover between the columns. The ground was slick, were a couple of good satisfying thunderclaps, then it was over.
